A Sullivan County woman is facing felony charges for allegedly stealing raffle merchandise from the 9/11 Never Forget mobile exhibit earlier this month.
Clarkstown police say they received the call about stolen items from the 9/11 Education Foundation and Foley Strong back on Oct. 3.
Police say Shannon Morris, of Bloomingburg, took off with signed sports memorabilia, watches, coolers, speakers and lawn chairs.
"It's about justice," says Joanne Foley, the founder of the 9/11 Education Foundation. "If someone could take from a foundation that is looking to only do good and to educate our school-age children on history, what else are they capable of? She needs to be stopped."
The stolen items have not yet been recovered.
