The Poughkeepsie Public Library is bringing books, movies and library services directly to residents through its bookmobile.
Known as "Rover the Roaming Library," the mobile library makes stops throughout the City of Poughkeepsie, giving residents convenient access to library resources.
Visitors can sign up for a library card, borrow and return books and movies, and learn more about programs and services offered by the library.
Library officials say the bookmobile is designed to make library resources more accessible to the community.
Rover will make several stops on Tuesday, Aug. 4, including an appearance at the city's National Night Out event.
Residents can check the bookmobile's schedule online for a complete list of upcoming stops.
