Sunny and dry for most of the week, rain to return Thursday

Storm Watch Team Meteorologist Meredith Garofalo says the dry weather across the Hudson Valley continues for the next few days but rain could end the workweek.

NOW: A few mild days with plenty of sun before a front brings rain chances and cooler weather into the weekend.
NEXT: Dry weather Tuesday and Wednesday before our next rain chance on Thursday.

FORECAST:
TUESDAY: Sunny with highs around 69. Lows near 50. 

WEDNESDAY: Cloudy, partly sunny. Highs around 69. Lows close to 58.
THURSDAY: WEATHER TO WATCH - Periods of rain developing. Some rain may be heavy, especially during the evening. Highs around 70. Lows around 54. 
FRIDAY: Any lingering rain showers end early with developing sunshine. Highs around 67. Lows near 47. 
SATURDAY: Sunny - highs around 63. Lows near 47. 
SUNDAY: Mostly sunny. Highs around 65. Lows near 44.
