News 12 Storm Watch Team Meteorologist Addison Green says the Hudson Valley will see a sunny and mild Friday, but there is a chance for rain for Saturday.
WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:
- Another frosty night is coming for many as freeze warnings are in effect with temperatures dipping down to around the freezing point of 32 degrees.
- Temperatures quickly bounce back, and then some, for Friday afternoon. It’s the type of day that needs a jacket and hat in the morning, and then just a comfortable shirt in the afternoon.
- A system moves this way Saturday afternoon, it will increase cloud cover at first, then bring scattered showers Saturday evening into Sunday morning.
- The temperatures don’t stop warming up though as 60s turn to 70s and there is a chance of hitting 80 on Monday.
- The next chance for rain will arrive Tuesday afternoon.
