Suspect accused of stabbing man twice after fight in Morris Heights

Police have arrested a suspect wanted in connection with a stabbing that occurred on April 16th in Morris Heights.

Investigators say Odane A Roye, 31, stabbed a man in the back twice after an argument on University Avenue.

Roye fled the scene in an unknown direction following the incident, according to police.

The 58-year-old victim was hospitalized in stable condition.

Police say Roye is now charged with assault and criminal possession of a weapon.
