A former Sing Sing Correction officer, and the suspect in a double homicide, is dead.
The NYPD ended its three-day manhunt for Jason Pass Wednesday morning in Brooklyn when police found him hiding inside a car.
Police say he shot and killed two neighbors on Sunday.
When officers found him Wednesday morning in his car, police say he lunged at them with a knife.
They responded by shooting and killing him.
According to the Department of Corrections and Community Supervision (DOCCS), Pass was once a correction officer in Ossining for about a year from 2004 to 2005. He was terminated, but DOCCS has not said why.
