Police are questioning a New Jersey man accused of flashing a female jogger in Pearl River last week.
According to authorities, the victim was running along Gilbert Avenue at around 9:25 a.m. Friday when a man in a truck pulled to the side of the road and exposed himself.
The woman continued on her way, stopping to warn a male jogger about what had happened to her. The male jogger returned home and reported the incident to Orangetown police.
The 31-year-old suspect was taken into custody at his Mahwah, N.J., home. Officials say he was taken in for questioning by Ramsey police in connection with similar incidents in their area.
Orangetown police believe he's the same man who flashed several teen girls two weeks ago in Blauvelt.
Police are seeking the female jogger in hope that she may be able to identify the suspect. Anyone who may have information on her whereabouts is asked to call Orangetown police at 845-359-3700.
