The police department says it received two calls Thursday morning from people who said they saw a suspicious black Audi sedan near Yale Farms and Windmill Farms.
One of the callers said that a suspect opened the doors of his car, but for some reason, wasn't successful in stealing anything.
Police in Greenwich, Connecticut alerted North Castle police they were investigating a similar incident.
None of the suspects have been located yet.
