A Spring Valley police officer on trial for allegedly conspiring against his own department has been found not guilty, but isn?t totally out of hot water just yet.
Officer David LeBron has been suspended since November 2007, for accusations he tipped off local bars to drug and prostitution raids. Lebron still faces a number of administrative charges at the Spring Valley Police Department. Those hearings could begin in early 2009.
LeBron had also been accused of drinking on the job and having sex with prostitutes. He says he still plans to go forward with a federal discrimination lawsuit.
?To be accused wrongfully of these crimes and have to go through this for a full year ? I'm just happy it?s over,? he says.
