A popular McDonald’s in Orange County remains closed on Monday following an SUV crash into the side of the fast-food restaurant.

The incident happened Saturday morning at the McDonald’s on Route 211 in the Town of Wallkill.

Multiple viewers sent News 12 images of the SUV into the side of the building and of the damage.

A worker at the location said they expect the restaurant to reopen by Tuesday afternoon.

So far, the extent of the damage is unknown and it’s not clear if anyone was hurt.

News 12 has reached out to Town of Wallkill police for more information.
