A driver crashed an SUV into a home on Laurel Road Monday, prompting an investigation.

Police are still determining the cause of the accident but believe speed may have been a contributing factor.

Fortunately, the homeowner was not present at the time of the crash.

The driver sustained minor injuries and no one else was hurt.
