Drawings of a swastika were found in two classrooms at Sleepy Hollow middle and high schools, according to the district.

The superintendent of the Public Schools of the Tarrytowns sent a letter to parents and staff saying the following:

"We reject this antisemitic and racist act, as well as the use of all symbols and language of hate. We will continue to educate students about the history, impact and harm caused by these words, acts and symbols."
