Families of the victims of the Taconic Parkway tragedy hope for more clues to find out what happened in the wrong-way collision that killed eight.
Diane Schuler drove the wrong way on the Taconic July 26, killing eight people, including herself. Toxicology reports state that Diane had drank the equivalent of 10 drinks and smoked marijuana before the crash. Her husband, Daniel Schuler, denies those reports.
Plans have now been made to exhume Diane's body and re-do the County Medical Examiner's testing.
The Bastardi family, who lost two relatives in the crash, has filed a lawsuit against Daniel Schuler. They are also requesting a hair sample from Daniel to test if he has ever taken drugs.
