A Bergen County elementary school teacher's car was struck by a paintball while driving in Fair Lawn on Tuesday.
According to Fair Lawn Police, the incident occurred on River Road near Morlot Avenue. Police say the teacher was heading south, about a quarter-mile from a school, when the incident took place.
Multiple police units responded to the scene following the incident. Investigators report that the teacher had her window open when the paintball was fired. The paintball hit the vehicle, causing paint to splatter inside.
The teacher was not injured, police said. No arrests have been made, but the case remains under investigation.
