The Lakeland baseball team defeated Harrison in last week's Section 1 Class A championship game, giving the Hornets' head coach, Dennis Robinson, his 600th career win.
Robinson has gotten a lot of help from his brother, Mike Robinson, the team's assistant coach, who has helped lead the Hornets to three Section 1 titles since he joined forces with his brother in 1977.
Players say the team's January fitness and conditioning program, known as "Insanity," coupled with the Hornets' trip to Florida in March to kick off the season, helped them bond together as a team.
