A 16-year-old from Pelham was arrested for stealing from a Metro by T-Mobile store Monday in Mount Vernon, according to police.

Authorities say the teen appeared to have a gun when he entered the business on East Sanford Boulevard and stole 17 cell phones valued at over $5,000.

The unidentified suspect is charged with robbery and criminal possession of a weapon.
