More than 20 Wappinger High School students were rescued after their boats capsized Wednesday night in the Hudson River.

Officials say heavy winds and rain from a pop up storm near Poughkeepsie capsized the teens' vessels.

Police and civilian marine assistance pulled the rowers from the water.

All the teens had life jackets and are OK.
