Ten Rockland families are picking up the pieces Monday after a fast-moving fire forced them from their condo complex over the weekend. Tenants at the Cedar Ridge development on Country Club Lane in Pomona woke up surrounded by smoke and flames around 5:30 a.m. Sunday. Tenant Roger Baroody considers himself lucky because he was able to salvage some of his belongings. The Red Cross is assisting families, as the Rockland County Arson Unit continues its investigation. There were no injuries in the blaze.
