You've likely heard of Ninja Warrior, and this week, we're
road-tripping to Westchester to learn all that goes into the sport that tests your courage, limits
and resilience.
On this Road
Trip: Close to Home, you don’t have to be good at sports to be the best because at The Grit Ninja in Pleasantville,
you’ll learn how to push new limits.
"You come in and it's like you versus the obstacles, you
versus yesterday's version of yourself, it's not you vs. everyone else in the
room," says Eric Meltzer, of The Grit Ninja.
Climb, swing, jump, run in and around
obstacle courses where every move is a challenge to put in the work and
conquer! "Test and improve your balance, your agility,
your strength, your grip strength, your coordination," says Meltzer.
Test your mind and body, with the help of coaches to get you back
up and at it again, "We named it the Grit Ninja because what we're really trying to do here
is help instill grit in our
kids,” explains Meltzer.
You’ll find a different setup almost every
time you come here, giving you so many ways to reach new goals.
