Staff members are hoping someone can help them figure out who abandoned a dog.
He was left in a car down the street from the shelter in Carmel.
They don't know how long he was abandoned, but he's very skinny.
Police can't run any plates to find who abandoned him because the car he was in is owned by the auto shop and had no plates.
Putnam Humane says he's nervous, but coming around and they can already tell he's a wonderful dog.
