Experts say sign up with Unidays and Student Beans to get discounts at various retailers and keep your college identification card with you at all times.

Need a study break? Head to AMC, Cinemark and some Regal Theatres in your area, which may offer lower-priced tickets with student ID.

Apple Music is offering college students a variety of discounts, and Spotify offers premium student membership for up to a year with Hulu.

Need to get home for the holidays? Amtrak will knock off 15%, but you need to reserve a day ahead.

United Airlines will also take 5% off for 18–to-23-year-olds if you sign up for the rewards program.

Need new clothes and sneakers? Check out Nike.com for a 10% discount. JCrew, Madewell and Levi’s will offer 15% savings.

Overstock offers teachers and students a free membership with their company awards. It allows for free returns and price matching, and you can earn loyalty points.
