Are we back? New Yorkers are ready to travel, see shows and eat out. So where are the jobs?
News 12's Janice Lieberman has The Real Deal on where to find employment.
Many of the major retailers are looking for seasonal help this holiday season. If you are searching for more permanent work, Caleb Silver, of Investopedia, says job gains in New York continue to be in the performing arts and spectator sports arena.
"Also, we're seeing it in civic and social organizations, up 21.5%. Arts, culture and recreational jobs, those are up 16.8%. And accommodations, hotel workers, we can't get enough of them. That's where the hiring has also been aggressive, up 16.8% year over year," Silver says.
If you're looking for a job, check your local library for resume help. Make sure you keep on top of LinkedIn, Indeed, Monster and other job sites to get the first crack at a new listing.
