Thousands of Bronx residents marched Sunday in the second largest Dominican parade in New York City.
The Bronx Dominican Day Parade marked the end of a week of celebrating the culture. The festivities got underway at Mount Hope Place and ended at 165th Street. Dominican flags transformed the streets into a sea of red, white and blue.
The Bronx borough president says almost 200,000 Dominicans call the Bronx home, and that number continues to grow.
