Threat to shoot up Rye Neck school found to be not credible

In a letter to parents, School Superintendent Dr. Eric Lutinski says a social media exchange between two students at the high school contained a threat to shoot up the school from one of the students.

Rye Neck school officials says a threat to shoot up the school earlier this week has been found not to be credible.
In a letter to parents, School Superintendent Dr. Eric Lutinski says a social media exchange between two students at the high school contained a threat to shoot up the school from one of the students.
The student who allegedly made the threat was taken into the district's care. The family was called and Mamaroneck Village police were contacted
Police said they did not find that the threat was credible.
