One man is still in critical condition following a car accident early yesterday morning on the New York State Thruway.
Police say Corey Grant, 22, was speeding and rear-ended a street sweeper. They then say the street sweeper lost control, went through a guardrail and rolled down an embankment.
Jose Funes, 60, was thrown from the sweeper truck, suffered internal injuries and is in critical condition at the Westchester Medical Center. His passenger, Francisco Gomez, suffered minor injuries.
Grant was not seriously hurt.
Funes was ticketed for driving without a license and Grant got a ticket for driving at an unsafe speed.
