Let's focus on the weather we have right now though. For more on that news, twelve's Lisa LA live in Thunderbolt 12 along the Sawmill River Parkway right now. Lisa is seeing any rangers yet. We are Matt just a little while ago. Let me get outside and show you what we're seeing from Thunderbolt 12 and it just started raining probably about 10 minutes ago. So nothing too crazy just yet. But enough where you can see we're getting some raindrops on, on the 3, 380 cam up there. So let's swing around and show you now. You know you're Matt saying fast moving showers, of course, we have ground swell from the ground is still wet from all of that rain we had on Monday. Don't forget all that flooding that we had in this very area. You had portions of the saw mill shut down issues all throughout this area. So something to be careful of if you're leaving right now as you can see, not a lot of folks on the road just yet, so just kind of, you know, that you could come up against some ponding sort of thing, but you should be good to go if you're leaving right now. So we're going to be out throughout the morning. We'll let you know how the rain is coming down right now, coming down at a steady clip, but nothing that, you know, it's hard to see or anything like that, but we'll have to see if that ends up being the case. So we'll be driving around in thunderbolt throughout the morning for you and we'll keep you updated on how the roads are looking. Let's go back to the studio.

Right now, we want to show you some of those street level conditions with news twelves, Lisa la driving around in thunder 12 and Lisa, the rain's coming down a little bit. Have you noticed any trouble spots so far this morning? Well, you know what, Matt, as a matter of fact, we're just, let me show you where we are, we're just pulling on to Napper Hand Avenue, which on Monday was really, really flooded because of those crazy rains. This whole area. If you were watching, you saw that we showed you cars that were kind of floating all along this whole street here. So we're not seeing anything like that just yet. Goodness. But, you know, there's always the possibility that you said with these, you know, with these rains coming down and it hasn't come down. It's not been that bad so far and let me just hit the, let's just hit the windshield wiper so you can see a little bit better there, hopefully. But the rain has, it hasn't been coming down in torrential downpours that we saw just the other day. But of course, the concern is we had so much, so much flooding and it happens so quickly that and there's, you know, the ground is damp so we'll have to see if that plays a factor. But right now if you're just heading out to your homes, you know, it's nothing that you can't handle. I mean, you can see right here and let's just kind of give a little swirl around there so you can kind of see what it's looking like this way. Too steady rain, but nothing too heavy. Like I said, nothing you can't handle. However, don't on all our parkways, especially Saw Mill, which will get on in just a little bit. It doesn't take much for that ponding to happen and it's so dark out there, no lighting on those parkways. So you really, really need to be extra careful because you don't know when you hit those big puddles and you can hide your plane. So, but again, you should be good to go if you leave right now and we'll continue to drive around, we'll let you know what we're seeing. Let's go back to the studio.

Do you want to focus on the roads right now and show you some of those street level live conditions from Lisa Laa in thunderbolt 12 at the moment, a driving in dobs along the sawmill, Lisa, what are you seeing? You said the rain picked up where you are, right? Yes, it did. And actually, as you were just talking about some lightning, we just saw a flash of lightning just out the window. Let's go outside, show you what we're seeing, got the windshield wipers going on thunderbolt and on the saw mill. So you see now, of course, traffic is picking up as is the rain just a little bit ago, started to come down a little bit harder again, not torrential downpours, but you know, enough to make the roadways slick. That's for sure. Let's give a swing around and see what it's looking like back behind us. And on the other side, you can see as those cars that are heading south as they're driving, kicking up some of that water. So certainly some water on the roadways, of course, Saw Mill always ponding whenever there's rain. So, and then of course, we had the rain on Monday too. So it doesn't take much after a lot like that. And there was a lot of flooding parts of the saw mill actually had to be shut down. So, but again, you know, clearly, you can see if you're driving, you just have to give yourself a little extra time at this point. Just felt like a little kind of hydroplane on thunderbolt as we were driving. So again, like I said, just give yourself a little extra time, just be aware and it's annoying rain coming down at a pretty good cliff at this point. More on the, the roads this morning. What you might interact with experience as you travel around the lower Hudson Valley News to Lisa La Rock out live in Thunderbolt 12 for us now in the NYA area and Lisa things drying out west of the Hudson right now. Are you seeing some decent conditions where you are? Yeah, actually we're not seeing any rain at all. Let's show you outside. We're driving down main street here in Nyack. Such a great area here too. We got a little work going on right here on the side here. You can see, actually it looks like it might be even water related. But as you look outside, you can see the rain has, has actually stopped. So that is certainly good news. We just went over over the bridge and no problems. They are just, you know, kicking up some water otherwise it's looking like it's, you know, it's pretty much stopped at this point just like Matt said. So if you are in the Rockland area, it should be smooth sailing for you again. We just kind of stopped at a red light. But yeah, you can see it's not we're not getting any rain at this point. So that's certainly good news, you know, driving on the saw mill to get up here as we were heading toward the bridge. Certainly saw some ponding there kicking up water and that is usually the case as you know, so just be aware of that. But other than that point commute shouldn't be too bad. The day started off a little rough this morning, but right now we turn to news twelve's Lisa Lara who has been driving around the changing weather conditions across the lower Hudson Valley in Spring Valley right now with a look at the much better conditions developing there, Lisa. Oh, yeah, much, much better. I mean, rain has completely stopped. Let's give you a look. You got some kids walk in there. The school day is about to start here and let's get a spin around. But you can see rain has stopped falling and the streets are wet, of course, and sidewalks and all that. So you just might need to watch depending on where you're driving. Like the saw mill, the Bronx River. If you're in Westchester, you may have to watch out for some ponding. But other than that, things have dried up. So that's certainly good news. Earlier this morning, we could see some lightning, some thunder got a bit of a downpour but you know nothing. Thank goodness like what we had on Monday where streets were flooded to the point where, you know, cars were floating. So that was not the case. And I was a little concerned that because we had all that rain that the ground might, you know, we might see some flooding just because the ground was so wet but have not heard of anything there. No road closures that we've come across. No flooding. Like I said, just some ponding here and there. And now as we're driving, kind of driving through Spring Valley, we can even see the roads look like they're starting to even dry up a bit. So if you are just heading out to start your day, good news, good timing. You should be fine and be able to make your way without any issues. Let's go back to the studio.
