Several sections of the main parkways in Westchester remained closed Tuesday night because of the storm.
A long stretch along the Bronx River Parkway from White Plains to the Sprain Brook Parkway split was shut down for most of the day.
Multiple sections of the Saw Mill River Parkway were also closed, including in Mount Pleasant and Elmsford.
While there was some minor flooding, many of the closures were out of an abundance of caution.
Officials continue to warn people against going out on the roads unless necessary until conditions improve.
