Officials are urging drivers to take it easy Thursday morning, especially on the parkways in the Hudson Valley.

The rain created some difficult driving conditions on Wednesday.

"It's bad, there's flooding, there's traffic everywhere," said Fabian who was driving through Westchester County Wednesday afternoon.

Things started to clear up Wednesday evening, however emergency crews are urging drivers to still use caution.

There is concern about the moisture on the roadways becoming slick.

"DPW will be keeping extra crews out overnight. We will be monitoring that, and we will use salt if there is a threat of black ice," says Kathleen Gill, the manager for the Village of Mamaroneck.
