UPDATE at 8:40 p.m.: Judge declines to impose temporary restraining order that would have halted congestion pricing, which is set to start Sunday.

Congestion pricing isn't the only thing on New York drivers' minds right now. Toll prices have increased on the Gov. Mario M. Cuomo Bridge.

The toll price went up for E-ZPass customers by 50 cents on Jan.1. It's now $6.75.

Many drivers who rely on the bridge to get to work tell News 12 they are not happy.

“It takes a toll on the paycheck, that's for sure," says Jack Nicholson, who uses the bridge five to six times a week.

Officials with the New York State Thruway Authority say it's still cheaper than other nearby options like the George Washington Bridge.

It all comes as many Hudson Valley drivers brace for congestion pricing to kick on Jan. 5.

"I use to like to park at a garage in Midtown, but if they are going to charge more to go into Midtown, I am less likely to do it," says Rockland County resident, Yvette.
