Police say a nearly three-decade old Torah was left behind on a Short Line Bus by an unknown passenger yesterday.
The Torah was found in Brooklyn by Donna Young, a Short Line employee, who turned it over to Moses Witriol in Kiryas Joel.
In addition to its religious and sentimental value, officials say the Torah is worth about $50,000.
