Town of Walkill police: Man arrested in connection to shooting at Middletown Motel

Police from the Town of Walkill say a man has been arrested in connection to a shooting at the Middletown Motel on Route 211.
Police say the incident occurred on June 6 at around 7:30 p.m.
The victim, a utility worker, told officers during an interview that he was servicing light poles when 32-year-old Middletown resident Kevin Brown pointed a gun at him during a physical fight and shot off two rounds.
The utility worker was not hurt, according to authorities.
Police arrested Brown on June 9. He faces charges for criminal possession of a firearm and menacing.
Brown had his first court appearance and was remanded to Orange County jail on $15,000 cash bail and $50,000 secured bond.
