The Town of Wallkill Emergency Medical Services has added two new ambulances to its force.
That means the team now has five ambulances, along with two fly cars. Like the rest, the two new ambulances will be run by medics and EMTs.
The executive director of Wallkill EMS says the team was able to purchase the new vehicles through medical billing and financing.
The new additions come after Wallkill EMS responded to almost 6,000 calls for service last year.
