Metro-North train schedules are back on track after Sunday's storms caused damage to the Hudson Line.
At a news conference today at Grand Central Station, Gov. Kathy Hochul said the storm littered the tracks with boulders, downed trees, mud and flooding - making the tracks impassable.
"This is an area that is vulnerable to these storms because of its proximity to the river and it's position down a ravine."
It took hundreds of crews working round the clock for the past three days to clear the and vacuum out the water to get trains running again. MTA officials say the track washouts were the biggest problem.
