The trial commences today for Enoch Lowe, a resident of Wallkill, who stands accused of orchestrating the murder of his neighbor.

Lowe faces charges including murder, attempted murder, tampering with evidence, and conspiracy.

Lowe, who previously pleaded not guilty, has been under scrutiny since his 53-year-old neighbor was discovered stabbed multiple times in his garage in 2022.

According to law enforcement authorities, the investigation has led them to believe that Lowe hired Damante Stansberry of Middletown for the crime. Stansberry has confessed to the act and awaits sentencing.
