Police are looking for three men who they say violently robbed a 68-year-old woman of her purse in Wakefield.

The attack unfolded just before 10 a.m. Tuesday in front of Vybe Hotel Bronx, located at 4600 White Plains Road.

Police say one man threw the 68-year-old to the ground, hit her multiple times on the head and snatched her purse while the other two kept an eye out. They say the trio took off running after the robbery.

Paramedics took the woman to Montefiore Medical Center. She is expected to recover, according to the NYPD.
