A man is facing charges for
allegedly trying to bring a loaded handgun onto his flight at Westchester
County Airport.
TSA officials say the
Florida man attempted to board his flight on Sunday with a 9mm handgun
loaded with 10 bullets, including one in the chamber.
News 12 was told that he also had two additional magazines loaded with 20 more
bullets.
The gun was recovered by police and the man was arrested on a weapons charge.
This is the third firearm TSA officers have detected at Westchester County Airport
security this year.
