Two Hudson Valley students are aiming to spell their way to top at the 2024 Scripps National Spelling Bee.

The spellers are Eli Mcnair,13, an eighth grader from Newburgh and Noah Kaplan,12, a seventh grader from Wappinger Falls.

The two-night event begins with the semi-finals on Wednesday.
