Two Hudson Valley towns have been named among the most beautiful in the country.

The Dutchess County village of Rhinebeck is rated No. 14 on Architectural Digest's rankings of 55 towns. That's because of its location along the Hudson River and the remarkable views of the Catskill Mountains.

Cold Spring in Putnam County ranked No. 54. It's most notable for its 19th century buildings and hiking opportunities in the Hudson Highlands.
