Two men are heading to prison in Orange County after gunfire was directed toward a group of men during an incident last year.
Zephaniah Mason and Naviean Wheeler fired the shots about a year ago in Newburgh, according to the district attorney’s office. Both men admitted to illegally carrying a loaded firearm.
Mason was sentenced to six years in prison.
Wheeler received a 10-year prison sentence, the district attorney says.
