Two people are injured after a two-car crash in Ulster County involving an off-duty member of the Sheriff's Office's Corrections Division.

Officials responded to the accident Thursday around 3:06 p.m. in the area of La Mirage on Broadway in Ulster Park.

Investigators say a 17-year-old male was traveling south on Broadway when he was struck head-on by Shannyn LaCroix, 24.

The teenager was airlifted to Westchester Medical Center in stable condition with serious injuries. LaCroix was sent to Mid-Hudson Regional Hospital in stable condition with minor injuries.

The cause of the accident is unknown, and the investigation is ongoing.
