Two teenagers, Amari Webb, 19, and an 18-year-old boy, face gun charges after a car crash in Poughkeepsie.

The incident began when state troopers attempted to pull over the car on Route 9W in the Town of Lloyd for multiple traffic infractions Saturday. The vehicle refused to stop, leading to a brief chase that ended before entering Poughkeepsie.

Later, reports emerged of the car crashing into multiple vehicles in a parking lot on Main Street in Poughkeepsie. Troopers found the car unoccupied but subsequently apprehended the suspects at the intersection of Mill Street and North Bridge Street.

Three illegal handguns were discovered in the car following the arrests. The teens were charged with criminal possession of a weapon in the second and third degree.

They were arraigned in Town of Lloyd Court and taken to Ulster County Jail.
