Two teens injured in Tremont slashing

Police say a 15-year-old boy was slashed on the right side of his face, and a 16-year-old boy was slashed in his forearm.

Two teens were injured in a Tremont slashing on Wednesday afternoon.

The attack happened near E 180 Street and Park Avenue just before 1:45 p.m.

Police say a 15-year-old boy was slashed on the right side of his face, and a 16-year-old boy was slashed in his forearm.

Both teens were transported by EMS to St. Barnabas Hospital and are expected to recover.

Currently there are no arrests, and an investigation is ongoing.
