Officials at the Ulster County Jail have announced the arrest of 11 inmates as part of a narcotics trafficking investigation.

The sheriff's office reported the seizure of 650 doses of Suboxone, a medication used to treat heroin addiction.

The confiscated drug, with a street value exceeding $3,200, was found in possession of the inmates.

The investigation into the trafficking activities started in January 2023.
