An Ulster County woman has been sentenced to 3 1/3 to 10 years in prison for two separate aggravated vehicular assault felonies, according to the DA.
Nancy Naccarato, of Napanoch, pleaded guilty to the charges, which stemmed from two separate collisions caused by her driving while under the influence of drugs.
The first accident occurred in December 2022 on Route 209 in Wawarsing. Naccarato crossed the double yellow line and struck a pedestrian on the side of the road, causing serious physical injury.
Two months later, she crossed the double yellow lines again, this time on Route 209 in Marbletown, and struck another vehicle head-on. The driver of the vehicle and her 6-year-old daughter sustained serious physical injuries.
Naccarato had a prior conviction for DWI in 2017.
