A growing number of people in the Hudson Valley are looking for legal help to apply for a religious exemption to the state’s vaccine mandates.
Labor and employment attorneys say it should be done in writing; and will require proof of a long standing belief system.
Proponents of the vaccine mandates say that's not true and they're fighting it.
A federal judge has temporarily blocked the vaccine mandate for state health care workers who have filed for a religious exemption.
A final decision is expected before Oct. 12.
