A 54-year-old father, John Tonchen, is accused of kidnapping his teenage son from a summer camp in Sullivan County.
The teen was reported missing last September after failing to show up for dinner at the camp. State police located the teen with Tonchen in Michigan.
According to troopers, Tonchen does not have legal custody of the teen. He was arrested and, just last week, extradited to Sullivan County Jail.
Tonchen faces multiple felony charges, including kidnapping.
