US attorney: 28 gang members, associates from Newburgh and Poughkeepsie face charges

The U.S. Attorney's Office for the Southern District of New York just announced the unsealing of an indictment charging 28 members and associates of the Young Gunnaz (YG) gang.

Nearly 30 gang members and associates from Newburgh and Poughkeepsie face dozens of charges for drugs, guns and violence, according to the U.S. attorney.
The U.S. Attorney's Office for the Southern District of New York just announced the unsealing of an indictment charging 28 members and associates of the Young Gunnaz (YG) gang.
Some of those charged include gang leaders.
The gang is accused of trafficking large amounts of drugs across Newburgh and the state. They're also accused of using weapons to assault members of rival gangs, drug dealers and others.
