Eric Lau, the man accused of murdering a popular Suffern gym teacher, was back in court today seeking another mental evaluation after state psychiatrists said he is mentally fit to stand trial.
Critics had accused the Valley Cottage man of faking mental illness to avoid trial.
Lau is accused of stabbing and beating his neighbor Jami Erlich to death in 2009.
