An athletic field at Doherty Park in Beekman was badly damaged by vandals.

Officials said it looks like someone did donuts with a vehicle on the field and also damaged equipment.

The Dutchess County Sheriff is investigating the case.

Beekman Recreation and Parks officials said they're working on an alternative field for the Dutchess Gaelic Athletic Association to practice on.
