The doctors were in, but the phone lines were out at several major doctors' offices in West Nyack today because of the Verizon strike and the company is blaming union sabotage.
Verizon says fiber optic lines were deliberately cut to their customers, including in Pomona.
CWA Local 1107 President Tony Capara, which represents striking Verizon workers in Rockland County, says his members are walking the picket line peacefully and are not committing sabotage.
